Sterling Ridge Resort and Cabins

Sterling Ridge Resort is located on a scenic backroad with stunning vistas of Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, and Smugglers Notch, a mountain road pass connecting Jeffersonville to Stowe village. Our log cabins are a romantic getaway for honeymooners and the perfect setting for family vacations and reunions. Sterling Ridge's rental cabins, nested in the woods, have fireplaces, jacuzzis, and full kitchens.

Enjoy activities in the summer, fall, winter and spring - hike, cross country ski, or snowmobile on our 360 acres of woods and meadows. Canoe and fish on our private 10 acre lake or relax in our new swimming pool (finished mid-June) and hot tub. Enjoy it all in the peacfulness of the countryside with a beautiful mountain view.

Location

From Jeffersonville: We are 1.2 miles east on VT 15, then right on JunctionHill Rd. (a dirt road), for 1.1 miles OR 3.0 miles south on VT 108, turn left on Edwards Rd, bear left on Cliff Reynolds Road for 2 miles, at "Y" bear right on Junction Hill Road, 200 yards down on right. Rt. 108 is closed from Smugglers Notch to Stowe during the winter.

From the Burlington Airport: As you leave the Airport, turn left, and go until you get to the traffic light. Turn left onto Route 2 (Williston Road). At the lights at the Y, just past Earthy Cars, turn left onto Industrial Avenue. Turn left at the end of Industrial Avenue and pick up Route 2A.

Stay on Route 2A until you get to the 5 Corners in Essex Junction. You will want to be in the farthest right lane to pick up Route 15 East. Stay right and then continue on Route 15 East until you get into Jeffersonville (about 20 miles). Stay on Route 15 past Tatro's Construction on the left, The Deer Run Motel on the right, and then you'll see our sign on the right. Just past Jack Course Fuel Company, turn right onto Junction Hill Road. We are 1 mile up the road from Route 15. Our sign and driveway are on the left.

From New York City: ( 6 hours ) Follow the New York Thruway, I-87 N through Albany, NY to Exit 20. Take NY 149E to Fort Ann. Take Rt. 4 through Whitchall to the Vermont border. Look for signs for Fair Haven and Vergennes. Take Rt. 22 A North to Vergennes. Take Rt. 7 East through Essex Junction to Jeffersonville. Stay on Rt. 15 East; you will see our tourist sign just before Corse Fuel Co., turn the next right onto Junction Hill Road. We are 1 mile up the road on the left.

Our Lodge offers a 3 or 4 bedroom suite, each about 1,200 square feet of living space. It may also be rented out as a whole unit for larger groups, family reunions, and weddings. Both suites have spectacular views of Mt. Mansfield. Our cabins have fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces or wood stoves, cable tv and an outside barbecue. The Pond House offers additional accommodations. This quaint home has 4 bedrooms. 3 of the rooms have Queen-sized beds and the 4 th has twin beds. There are also 2 twin cots available. It has 2 bathrooms, one of which has a Jacuzzi jet tub. The country style kitchen is equipped with all major appliances, dishes, pots, and pans. There is a laundry room right off of the kitchen.
